Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour SPF 15 Face Powder
Exit it to Chanel to have something as seemingly irksome as beige (seriously…the standard deadening colour of slow apartment walls everywhere) and turn it into something schmexy and worthy of being coveted.
Their new Les Beiges Good for you Glow Sheer Colour SPF 15 face powders are doing just that.
From the elegant packaging to the cozy brush to the sheer, finely-milled powders (barely there on the skin, and perfect for natural-looking weekend makeup, or other times when you just want to expect similar yourself but a piffling put together), everything well-nigh it whispers "luxury…"
The line comes in seven shades with numerical names, No. x to No. seventy. Right at present I'grand wearing No. twoscore, which is a perfect match for my mid-summer tan.
I'm kind of surprised by how well it works considering I find that many beige products accept a little too much pinkish for me. Many of them announced grayish on my warm skin tone, simply at to the lowest degree for Nos. 40 and fifty, which contain enough warm golden tones and also have a slight sheen, I'one thousand not seeing whatsoever signs of gray.
I'm cursed/blest with combination pare. Some spots are oily, and some spots are dry, and on my shiniest areas (my forehead, nose and mentum), oily shine begins to bear witness through around the fifth or sixth hours of clothing, which is bang-up wear time at all, but if yous need serious oil control, you might take to upgrade this by mixing it with something like MAC Absorb.
If yous similar opaque powders, a word of note — the coverage of these is sheer. I probably also won't be wearing them oftentimes in pics, just more for just everyday wear, since the formula does incorporate titanium dioxide, which tin can produce a white cast under a flash.
They remind me of a very sheer, very expensive reproduction of a MAC Careblend, but with SPF. I like the subtle effect and that it sets foundation without looking heavy or fussy, but since they do contain SPF, I tin't really apply them for pics. For photos, I dear and adopt Chanel's loose powder.
The Les Beiges, by the fashion, smell ah-may-zing! I would wear them for the scent alone — that lovely freesia/orangish flower/rose fragrance that some of Chanel's skincare products have.
If you don't listen spending a pretty penny on pretty, everyday face makeup products, take a closer look ane of these days when you're virtually a Chanel counter.
